"O-H-I-O at the White House with the Garaway 8th Graders - "Class of 2017""

The Garaway 8th Grade went to Washington D.C. on May 8-10 and decided that O-H-I-O needed to make an appearance at the White House!!! Many times throughout the trip, you would hear someone "O-H-" and others chimed in "I-O!" Even when we went to a Marine barracks, some of the students had on OSU shirts and a Marine yelled, "O-H" and we all answered "I-O!!" Needless to say, he was from our great state!!!! IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!

It started out as a simple football cheer. But today, "O-H-I-O" means the whole package: strong athletic traditions, major school spirit, academic achievements, and outreach efforts.

Gameday O-H-I-O

Fans, band members, and even Brutus showed their Buckeye pride outside the Shoe before the Ohio State v. Minnesota game (Oct. 24, 2009).
