Buckeyes for life

More than 10,000 tassels were turned at Spring Commencement 2013. The second-largest graduating class in Ohio State history included 130 veterans, 117 student athletes, and thousands of standout students.

Ohio State's newest alumni heard from President Barack Obama, the third sitting president to give the Buckeye commencement address. "I'll ask for two things from the Class of 2013: to participate and to persevere," he told grads. "Your democracy does not function without your active participation."

Experience the sights and sounds of commencement. Tag yourself in our high-resolution panorama. Read President Gee's reflections on the day. Stay connected to your alma mater through The Ohio State University Alumni Association.

Petal power

"The seasons pass, the years will roll," and there's one thing all Buckeyes look forward to after a long Ohio winter: spring. The blooms were out in full force this past semester, captured on camera by professional photographers and casual passersby alike.

Faculty address 2.0

"A revolution is under way at Ohio State," said President Gee in his recent faculty address. In an embrace of the web-based, mobile, 21st-century innovations connecting students and educators across campus, Gee spoke this year to university colleagues via video and the web.
