On the march

To Buckeyes, The Ohio State University Marching Band has always been The Best Damn Band in the Land. But recently, a much wider audience got to see how amazing those half-time performances can be. TBDBITL’s video game-themed show was filmed by an alumnus and went viral, garnering more than 14 million views on YouTube.

So just how does the band plan and execute their flawless formations? It’s an extensive process months in the making, says newly named marching band director Jonathan Waters.

Go behind the scenes of TBDBITL’s on-field innovation. Catch the band during its annual indoor concert. And get ready for what’s likely to be another dazzling performance during the last home football game of the season: Michigan.
