Ohio State History of Art professors Susan and John Huntington have spent nearly 30 years devoted to the appreciation and documentation of Asian Art. In 1986, the Huntingtons moved their extensive photographic collection into permanent residence at Ohio State, formally creating the Huntingon Archive—one of the world's foremost collections of Buddhist and related art. Not only is the Archive a valuable resource for Ohio State students and faculty, because its contents are now viewable online, students and researchers worldwide can easily view and learn from nearly 300,000 images of ancient Asian art.
