Dr. Oliver McGee
Chair, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Geodetic Science

Leading a group of Ohio State students isn't anything new for Oliver McGee. In 1980, when McGee was an undergraduate, he was also head drum major for Ohio State's marching band. After graduation, he went on to build a highly successful teaching career, which later culminated in several years as a Science Advisor in the Clinton Administration. Earlier this year, 20 years after leading the marching band onto the Ohio Stadium field, McGee returned to campus, this time as Chair of Ohio State's Civil and Environmental Engineering department.
