2004-2005 Broadcast Public Service Announcements
Is it a time-out? Halftime? Then you might see these two :30 second spots featuring
eight Ohio State undergraduate and graduate students during this year's televised football and men's basketball games. These aren't actors—the students featured are from a broad range of departments across campus—and all are conducting research in their chosen majors...exactly the kind of hands-on research experience (which drives future discovery) students can only get at a comprehensive university like Ohio State.
The spots were shot in early August 2004 in some familiar locations on and off campus including the Ohio Union, Wexner Center, South Oval, McPherson Laboratory, and of course, Flying Pizza and Used Kids Records on North High Street.
They're small snapshots of real Ohio State students who are "doing something great."
