PC Users:

The image is thumbnail size on my screen, how do I make it bigger?
You may have right clicked or control clicked on the thumbnail image. Instead,

  • Left click on the thumbnail image which opens a large image in a new browser window.
  • Right click or Control click on the larger image to set your wallpaper.

The image is centered/tiled/too large on my screen. How do I change it?

  • From the Start menu, go to Settings/Active Desktop/Customize my Desktop
  • Select the Background tab
  • Go to Display at the bottom right corner of the dialog box and choose the style you prefer.

How do switch to another OSU image?

  • Return to the thumbnails page.
  • Left click on a thumbnail to open a larger image in a new browser window.
  • Right click or Control click until a menu appears.
  • Choose Set Wallpaper from the menu. The new image will replace the previous image.

How do I remove an OSU image?

  • From the Start menu, go to Settings/Active Desktop/Customize my Desktop
  • Select the Background tab.
  • Under Wallpaper--Select an HTML Document or a picture--choose None and click OK.

  • Choose “Download Image to Disk” (Explorer) or “Save Image As” (Netscape) and save image to your hard drive.
  • Go to Appearance in the Control Panels menu under the Apple.
  • Choose Desktop.
  • Click "Place Picture" and drive to the image downloaded from the web.

  • Choose the Desktop tab and go to the pulldown menu under Remove Picture.
  • Choose the style you prefer.
