Culture Strategist Tool Kit
Welcome!
Culture Transformation at Ohio State will not succeed through unfreezing retreats, but rather by applying the principles to our strategies and processes, and continuing reinforcement. This requires a continuing commitment from each leader, and a very active planning and execution process. 
You have been appointed as a Culture Strategist to help with that process. In this role, you have been asked to serve as an example for others, and actively support your leader to keep our values and culture transformation a priority. You have been asked to serve in this role because you are deeply committed to the success of the university, believe in a shift from excellence to eminence, and serve as a role model of our values.
How we will support you
This is an important, sometimes challenging task, but you're not alone. Your Dean/Vice President supports you in your efforts and selected you for this position, and the one-day training you completed was designed to orient you with your role and the resources available to you. You also have a strong support staff, including the Core Culture Team and Culture Facilitators. And you have this tool kit.
This tool kit was deigned to offer you ongoing support through information, ideas, tools, and resources. It's divided into four sections:
- Getting Started: A recommended checklist to help you get started
- Living Our Values: Tools to help you focus on our values, including what the value looks like practice, how its modeled and how to reinforce and strengthen positive behavior
- Focusing on Behavior: A Senn Delaney Portal with tools, resources, and activities to help you increase awareness of the behaviors that support our values
- Resources: Additional tools and information to help you in your role
This tool kit is designed to support you - if there are more tools and resources that will help, please let us know. We'll update the tool kit regularly, so check back often.
