Carol K. Hall, Camille Dreyfus Distinguished University Professor, North Carolina State University will present the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering's 2008 William G. Lowrie Lectures on Thursday (5/1) and Friday (5/2). "Thermodynamic and Kinetic Origins of Alzheimer's and Related Diseases: A Chemical Engineer's Perspective," will be delivered at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in 207 Koffolt Lab, while "Confessions of an Ordinary Teacher - Dealing with the Big Fish," is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday in 330 Koffolt Lab.
