Discover Aviation Discover what it takes to be a pilot! Spend three hours at The Ohio State University Airport with our certificated flight instructors as they teach you the steps and skills required to pursue your private pilot's license! This class covers a wide range of topics, such as: what you will need to start flight training; how flight training works; parts of an airplane; basic aerodynamics; additional certificates and ratings; and air traffic control. This class also includes an aircraft display where you can look at a variety of airplanes up-close, sit in the cockpits, and ask questions of our instructors. The cost is $20/person. |
