My Morning Jacket with special guest Band of Horses A special concert to benefit the Wexner Center for the Arts and CD 102.5 for the Kids, in association with PromoWest Productions. Louisville quintet My Morning Jacket are rightly revered for outstanding live shows where their uniquely improbable musical mixÑhoneyed soulful Southern sounds, leftfield psych pop, and falsetto-punctuated throw-down funkÑenthralls fans. Reviewing a recent concert the Chicago Tribune called the group "one of the most formidable live rock acts of the last decade" and described their music as a "place where Southern rock and psychedelic surrealism happily co-exist." For this tour, MMJ team up with Seattle's Band of Horses, whose country-rock glow and warm harmonies are a perfect complement for this outdoor show at the LC.
