Workshop - Leading Organizations in These Challenging Times Leading Organizations in These Challenging Times Tuesday, November 13, 2012 9:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. 2120 Fyffe Road, Room 105 Columbus, OH 43210 Today's leaders are facing some of the greatest challenges as their respective organizations and/or programs face budget reductions, elimination, staff downsizing, and/or increased clientele needs. The pressure to change will only increase over the next decade. Yet our methods and strategies routinely fall short of systematic change. It is during these critical times that your leaderhsip is most important...but what are the most critical elements and methods one should utilize in creating change in today's worls. This workshop will focus on using your change style preference to effectively use change models and implement key strategies for more effective change. More specifically, as a result of this workshop individuals wil: Recognize the environmental context we are working/leading in Identify your change style preference and it's implications to leading change Explore the Kotter model of leading change Identify key change leadership strategies Be better prepared to lead change within their organization or department Prior to the workshop session, participants will take the Change Style Preference online and receive their results as a part of the training.
