Buckeyes Carry for Charity 5K

Buckeyes Carry for Charity 5K ONELIFE at The Ohio State University is holding a 5K walk/run fundraising event! All proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization charity: water to fund building a well in Rwanda. Participants will have the option of carrying either empty or full 2.5 gallon plastic water jugs on the route. This serves to mimic the journey for clean water that people in underdeveloped countries must make every day. 40 billion hours every year are spent by people in Africa walking for water, as the nearest source may be miles away. Event Details: Sunday, November 11, 2012, 12-4PM Beginning at the RPAC Northwest Plaza (337 W. 17th Ave.) on OSU campus (5K routed around OSU campus) $30 for adults, $20 for students / Late registration (after Oct 26) $35 for adults, $25 for students All participants get a free t-shirt, and there will be a raffle for prizes!
