A Criminal Justice Research Center Graduate Student Symposium The Criminal Justice Research Center presents a Graduate Student Symposium in preparation for the upcoming American Society of Criminology annual meeting being held in Chicago November 14-17, 2012. Eight CJRC affiliate graduate students will present 15 minute lectures on the papers they will be presenting at the ASC. The lectures will be divided into two sessions: Session 1: 11:30 am -1 pm :Dynamics of Behavioral Choices/Activities of Adolescents and Substance Abusers Session 2: 1 pm-2:30 pm: Structural and Other Underpinnings of Gun Acquisition, Violence and Street Crime. Each student's presentation will last 15 minutes with questions at the end of each session. Pizza, salad and refreshments will be served. |
