With/Without Text is the first in-depth retrospective of the work of comic artist Mark Beyer, and the first major exhibition of BeyerŐs work in the U.S. This broad collection features more than 70 of BeyerŐs original works, including comic strips, silkscreens, reverse paintings, and original artwork for concert posters and record and magazine covers. BeyerŐs style illustrates drastically different emotional spaces, from the cynical lives of two brooding comic strip characters Amy and Jordan, to hauntingly surreal landscapes.
