A Fixed-Effects Analysis of Shifts in Police Strength" You are welcome to attend CJRC's January 10, 2013 noon to 1:20 pm seminar featuring Dr. David Jacob, Professor of Sociology, The Ohio State University. Dr. Jacob's seminar is titled "Economic Inequality or Racial Threat? A Fixed-Effects Analysis of Shifts in Police Strength" Theory suggests that Successful demands for stronger police departments should be especially likely soon after a growth in economic inequality.
