Jukebox the Ghost ”An unrelenting energy pours out of every song here.” -PopMatters Brooklyn-based trio Jukebox the Ghost’s pop chops took a fresh direction with their most recent Yep Roc label release Safe Travels that focuses lyrically more on close to the heart personal perspectives while continuing to deliver the hooks that made their prior sci-fi oriented songs soar. In concert they win fans through the incredibly infectious sense of fun that permeates their buoyantly energetic sets. Fellow Philadelphia- to-Brooklyn transplants Matt Pond, led by the singer/songwriter of the same name, and Cleveland indie-poppers The Lighthouse and the Whaler will open the show. |
