The U.S., Europe and the Second World War Info Session
The U.S., Europe and the Second World War Info Session |
The U.S., Europe and the Second World War – Intersections in 20th Century History May session study abroad program allows students from all backgrounds and majors the unique opportunity to study World War II where it happened years ago. Students will travel to powerful historical World War II sites, museums, and memorials in prominent locations in Germany, France, and England. During spring semester, the students will immerse themselves in interesting history and culture courses, as well as engage frequently in small groups to exchange ideas and prepare for the traveling portion of the program. Students will leave this program with a newfound appreciation and understanding of the incredible trials and triumphs that accompanied one of the most impactful events the world has ever endured. This flagship program will also help bolster your “education for citizenship”—Ohio State’s motto—in ways that simply can’t be apprehended by a textbook alone.
