NSF IUSE "Goals, Objectives and Evaluation Questions" Workshop
NSF IUSE "Goals, Objectives and Evaluation Questions" Workshop |
The National Science Foundation's Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) Program "supports the improvement of the undergraduate STEM education enterprise through funding research on design, development, and wide-spread implementation of effective STEM learning and teaching knowledge and practice, as well as foundational research on student learning." To assist prospective PIs in their preparation of proposals to the IUSE programs, STEM Initiatives is organizing Ohio State's viewing site for a series of web-based workshops offered by AAAS during the week of January 6–10, 2014.
The goal of the "Goals, Objectives and Evaluation Questions" workshop is to enhance the participants’ ability to write goals and the corresponding expected outcomes for an NSF educational project so that they can more effectively address them in preparing proposals or in implementing funded efforts. To more information and to register, visit the STEM Initiatives IUSE webpage (http://go.osu.edu/iuse).
