NSF IUSE "Project Evaluation" Workshop
NSF IUSE "Project Evaluation" Workshop |
The National Science Foundation's Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) Program "supports the improvement of the undergraduate STEM education enterprise through funding research on design, development, and wide-spread implementation of effective STEM learning and teaching knowledge and practice, as well as foundational research on student learning." To assist prospective PIs in their preparation of proposals to the IUSE programs, STEM Initiatives is organizing Ohio State's viewing site for a series of web-based workshops offered by AAAS during the week of January 6–10, 2014.
The goal of the "Project Evaluation" workshop is to enhance the participants’ understanding of evaluation concepts and methods so that they can more effectively work with an evaluator in addressing this important component in preparing proposals or in implementing funded efforts.
