Louis-Georges Schwartz examines PasoliniÕs film Medea in the context of Italian feminism and the womenÕs struggle within militant movements between 1969 and 1978, a period of great political upheaval in Italy marked by a wave of terrorism. Schwartz is Associate Professor of Film Studies in Ohio UniversityÕs School of Dance, Film, and Theater, and the author of Mechanical Witness: A History of Motion Picture Evidence in U.S. Courts(2009).
