Undergraduate artists show their wares

Photos. Paintings. Computer animation. Even a giant cocoon made of plaster.
Whatever piques your interest, you'll find it at the Undergraduate Juried Art Exhibition.
The annual show, at Hopkins Hall through April 28, features 72 works of art by 49 undergraduates.
The artists were selected from a group of 101 applicants by jurors--this year, curators from the Columbus College of Art & Design, the Ohio Arts Council, and the Columbus Museum of Art.
For the first time this year, some pieces have pricetags. Costs range from $50 for an untitled photograph to $3,000 for an ink drawing.
"Everyone is different when it comes to putting a price on their art," said Ashley Brook, president of the Student Art League and a senior in art and technology. " It basically just comes down to how much money it would take for you to part with your artwork."
