Buckeye pride has no boundaries.
The 30-second commercial that will air during football games this fall features photos students, faculty, staff, and alumni have submitted to the "O-H-I-O" site. The site now features more than 220 photos from Buckeyes showing their school spirit in dozens of countries and on every continent but Antarctica. The project, which started in January, now includes a Facebook group and incorporates Google mapping technology to pinpoint where photographs have been taken.
Photos have been taken during study abroad trips, sporting events, high school graduations, senior proms, service trips, military deployments, family vacations, and research expeditions. They're just one more example of the strong athletic traditions, major school spirit, academic achievements, and outreach efforts that make The Ohio State University the great place it is.
Both the website and public service announcement were produced by University Marketing Communications.
