It started out as a simple football cheer.
Today, it has become more. Much more.
A bond between students, teachers, and alumni.
O-H!
A proud union that makes the world a better place through research and service.
I-O!
On campus and around the world, it's an expression of community for Buckeyes everywhere.
Whether you're a fan, a faculty or staff member, a student, or an alum, Ohio State is giving you plenty to cheer about these days.
The Buckeyes just won their 800th game. They're one of only five Division I football teams to hit that milestone.
Ohio State has been recognized as a "great college to work for" (The Chronicle of Higher Education).
And we've just been recognized as one of the top 15 "innovative" universities by U.S. News and World Report. (We're ranked No. 14--coincidentally, the number of consecutive years that we've enrolled our best and brightest first-year class.)
So how do you show your Buckeye pride?
Add your photos to the O-H-I-O web site, a collection of more than 1,600 O-H-I-O snapshots taken around the world.
Photos from the site were used to create Ohio State's fall TV spot, the 30-second commercial that will air during football games. See a slideshow of the photos used in the spot.
