| Karen A. Holbrook Begins As Ohio
State's 13th President A crowd of friends, students, and new colleagues greeted Ohio's State's
new president, Karen A. Holbrook, Tuesday morning on the steps outside
Bricker Hall as she began her first day as president of Ohio State.
Following remarks by Board of Trustees Chair, James F. Patterson, and
a poem for the occasion by David Citino from Ohio State's Department
of English, President Holbrook addressed members of the Ohio State community.
