What does Ohio State mean to Chelsea Davis?

Chelsea Davis

But for Ohio State, Chelsea Davis’s ambition may have gone untapped. A three-time NCAA All-American diver in the pool and an Academic All-American in the classroom, Chelsea also received the 2010 Big Ten Female Medal of Honor and the 2010 Wayne Duke Postgraduate Award. She served on Ohio State’s Student-Athlete Advisory Board and volunteered with the Improving Literacy Program, the Next Chapter Book Club, and The Ohio State University Hospital. She also served as an athlete representative for USA Diving’s site selection and rules committees. “Ohio State prepared me as an athlete in the pool and as a student in the classroom, but the university also prepared me for life,” says Chelsea. “I owe so much to my coaches and my professors. They are the reason why I was so successful.” Armed with her degree in health sciences, her commitment to excellence, and her talent as an athlete, Chelsea is now pursuing a master’s degree in physical therapy.
