Campus Campaign Council

The Campus Campaign Council is comprised of faculty and staff appointed by the university president. Members of the council serve as an advisory board for the campus-wide fundraising effort, helping to promote Campus Campaign and its mission.

Campus Campaign Mission Statement

Through volunteerism, Campus Campaign advances the university's mission of education, research, and service by promoting faculty and staff giving.

Council Committees

Members of the council participate on one of three subcommittees created to further advance the effectiveness of volunteer efforts.

The Communications and Marketing Committee develops and implements strategies to improve current communications and identify new communications and marketing opportunities. Committee members also review training materials for changes in presentation/format, content updates, and web applications. They also seek out personal testimonials and impact stories from faculty and staff for use on the web site, in newsletters, and in other Ohio State publications.

The Major Events Committee plans and coordinates three key annual events: the coordinator orientations, fund fairs, and celebration event.

The Team Captains Committee guides coordinators from colleges and administrative offices as unique campaigns are planned and implemented. Team captains serve as liaisons with the Campus Campaign office, direct coordinators to available resources, assist with event planning, and respond to questions about giving opportunities.
