The College of Education and Human Ecology focuses its attention and energy on developing breakthrough research and innovative practices to help solve some of society’s most complex problems. The college’s dedicated faculty lead a new wave of thinking, imagining new possibilities for learners, consumers, families, and communities. The college’s rigorous, multi-faceted programs include a visionary, holistic approach that inspires innovation in learning and living. Each year, nearly 1,600 students graduate from the college’s bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs from one of the college’s six academic units: consumer sciences, educational policy and leadership, human development and family science, human nutrition, physical activity and educational services, and teaching and learning.
