Alzheimer’s and dementia: a way forward

The Harry T. Mangurian Junior Foundation has committed $1.5 million to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the College of Medicine to help accelerate research efforts in the development of disease-modifying treatments for Alzheimer’s and dementia.

With $500,000 dedicated to a Lewy body dementia research fund and $1 million to create the Dorothy Mangurian Fellow in Memory Disorders Fund, researchers will be able to build upon breakthroughs the Mangurian Foundation has enabled through its ongoing support over the last four years.

The foundation has been an invaluable philanthropic partner, supporting researchers and faculty who are working diligently to improve the lives of patients and their families.
