You still have time to make a gift before the end of 2012 to qualify for President’s Club recognition. The President’s Club office will be closed December 24 and 25. However, you can ensure your support for 2012 by making your gift online no later than December 31, 2012, or by mailing your gift, postmarked in 2012, to The President’s Club, 1480 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, OH 43221. Circle of Friends: William Stinson Jr. and Michael L. Wagner

In the late 1950s, Bill Stinson Jr. and Mike Wagner became friends and fraternity brothers while students at Ohio State. While they each had success in their careers and now support scholarships for Ohio State students, they fell out of touch over the years. But recently, they were reunited by chance during a President’s Club outing at Stone Laboratory on Lake Erie. “To see a friend who you haven’t seen in years is really rewarding,” says Wagner. MORE

Ohio State welcomes the return of Eddie George

Heisman Trophy Winner and 2001 graduate Eddie George is returning to Ohio State, where he will support university advancement initiatives. “Eddie brings such a breadth of talent to the university, and his entrepreneurial spirit, business experience and leadership skills are great assets to our ongoing work,” says President Gee. “Having Eddie return to our team is a great coup for the university.” MORE

Keith and Linda Monda make additional commitment for travel scholarships

Ohio State alumnus and Foundation Board Director Keith Monda and his wife, Linda, have committed an additional $5 million to The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences. This gift supplements the Keith and Linda Monda International Experience Scholarships, which they created with a gift of $5 million in November 2011, bringing their total support for the scholarship to $10 million. “People who are blessed have an obligation to give back,” says Keith. A special horse named Northstar

He’s not a Triple Crown winner like Secretariat, nor a TV star like Mr. Ed. In fact, he’s just a regular horse from Pennsylvania. But Northstar has become a celebrity in his own right--and his many fans have made possible a new fund at the Galbreath Equine Center for critically ill patients in need of veterinary care and financial support.
