Recognition Levels

The President's Club recognizes men and women who support academics, health sciences, and the arts at The Ohio State University with cumulative annual giving of at least $2,500 each calendar year. The five annual recognition levels are:

Staying Involved

In honor of their generous support of academics, health sciences, and the arts at The Ohio State University, President's Club members enjoy: 

• Invitations to campus and regional President's Club events
• A monthly e-mail newsletter with campus news and special features
• Special occasions for involvement with President Gee
• Use of the university's nationally recognized library system
• The opportunity to purchase season football tickets and on-campus parking
• Membership opportunities at the OSU Golf Club, the Faculty Club, and the university's recreational sport facilities (Fees apply.)

The Faculty Club
President's Club members have the opportunity to join The Ohio State University Faculty Club. With a wide variety of more than 80 events each year, the Faculty Club provides the perfect campus location to gather, dine, and socialize. In addition to having the use of the club's facilities, a membership would offer reciprocal privileges at more than 100 university clubs worldwide. The staff of the Faculty Club is available to take President's Club members on personal tours of the facilities, to learn more about the benefits of a Faculty Club membership.

Football Tickets
Upon enrollment, President's Club members may accept the opportunity to purchase two season football tickets. In order to qualify for the opportunity to purchase season football tickets, donors must be enrolled in the President's Club by December 31 of the year prior to any given season. (For example, donors must be enrolled by December 31, 2011, in order to qualify for 2012 season football tickets.) Football applications are generated by the Athletics Ticket Office and are typically mailed by mid-February to renewing donors and no later than mid-March to new donors. 

Please be aware that the IRS has determined that acceptance of the opportunity to purchase football tickets will affect the tax-deductible portion of a donor's contribution. According to IRS guidelines, the annual fair market value for the opportunity to purchase two Ohio State season football tickets through the President's Club is $300. 

For annual President's Club members who accept this benefit, the $300 fair market value will be disclosed on their gift receipt reducing the net charitable portion of their contribution. 

For annual President's Club members who are recognized by the President's Club through contributions from donor advised funds, the non-charitable portion of their gift must be contributed directly by the donor, not the donor advised fund. If this contribution of the benefit amount is not made by the donor, the opportunity to purchase football tickets benefit will be revoked. 

Golf Club
President's Club members are considered affiliates of The Ohio State University Golf Club and may call one day in advance to reserve a weekday tee time or call on the day of play to reserve a weekend tee time. President's Club members must show their President's Club ID card when checking in. Fees apply.

Libraries
President's Club members may borrow items from University Libraries. By showing their President's Club ID card, members will obtain a library courtesy card. Limited online services are also available by logging into www.library.osu.edu, clicking on "Services for Alumni and Friends," and typing in their President's Club ID number and last name.

Recreational Sports Facilities
President's Club members may take advantage of five indoor facilities and all recreational sports programs. Everyone can find something to fulfill their recreation, wellness, and leisure needs at Ohio State. Affiliate memberships may be purchased online or in person. Fees apply.
