Visual Identity Guidelines

Logo Use in Print

The university produces a wide range of print publications each year. To maintain a unified and consistent identity, the logo should appear on all publications. If the words "The Ohio State University" are displayed on the front (as part of the publication's title), the logo can appear on the front or back of the publication (see "Wordmark"). Back covers may incorporate the logo with return address if it is a self-mailer or the logo with the name and address of the unit producing the publication.

The Ohio State logo should never appear smaller than the other logos used. Normal white-space, color, and size guidelines apply. Preferably, the Ohio State logo should appear to the left of other logos or first in reading order.
