University Logo
Unacceptable University Logo Usage
Avoid using bitmapped images such as TIFF, PICT, or GIF file formats for printed materials because of their poor reproduction quality. The EPS file format is scalable and provides better reproduction for printing. Go to the Download Files page or contact Creative Services for logos in the appropriate file format for your needs.
Unacceptable usage of the university's logo includes:
Using other typefaces in place of the official typeface
Scanning the logo or re-creating the logo in any way
Rearranging the logo and/or named unit in any way
Re-proportioning the logo or distorting the logo
Adding a graphic pattern to the solid color area
Re-creating the logo or wordmark or changing the spacing between letters or words
Placing the logo inside another shape
Placing the solid logo inside the same color solid background and using a white outline
Overlapping or abutting the solid logo with a solid element
or line
Screening the logo in any color other than 35% black
Typography in multiple colors
Adding any artwork to the logo
Placing type or graphic elements around the logo Abbreviated Logo
The abbreviated version of the university logo is no longer an acceptable alternative to the full logo on university print or electronic communications.
