One of 49 bronze floor inlays at Thompson Library that depict various written forms of communication, both contemporary and historic. This one, as you enter from the Oval side of the building, depicts various ancient pictograms from around the world.

Thompson Library
The renovation of the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library is complete. The transformation of the library into a 21 century center for teaching, learning, and research was a decade in the making. With the three year construction phase finished, we are now celebrating its August opening.
