Help Welcome Students Home - All Week Long!
The Office of Student Life is designed to provide an optimal college experience to every Ohio State student. That’s why they begin each year with Welcome Week- a series of events and programs to welcome first year students, as well as welcome back returning Buckeyes. Many events are open to the Buckeye community, so come be a part of Welcome Week!
• Student Involvement Fair, Sunday Aug. 24: Come see all the amazing things students are doing on campus! From 4-8pm, 700 student organizations, campus departments, area businesses, and community agencies will be flaunting their stuff on the Oval. |
• Buck-I-Frenzy, Tuesday, Aug. 26: Buck-i-Frenzy is a lifestyle festival featuring select local and national companies who will be on-hand to offer samples of the latest products, services, fashions, sounds, technology and tastes. Attendees can enjoy five hours of friends, food and free stuff! |
• Drums and Dough, Wednesday, Aug. 27: The Student Life Multicultural Center presents Drums & Dough: An Intercultural Journey through Music and Breads. This extraordinary experience welcomes new and returning students back to campus in a way that allows them to connect and celebrate the rich intercultural diversity of the Ohio State community. Drums & Dough features a variety of live performances, free food from various cultures and lots of fun activities! This event is sponsored by the Student Life Multicultural Center, Coca-Cola and A.I.D.E. Come see for yourself! |
• Buckeye Kickoff, Thursday, Aug. 28: Experience the year's most dynamic OSU spirit event at Buckeye Kick-Off! Enjoy free food and interactive games at the fan fest and tailgate on the south plaza outside the Ohio Stadium South Stands at 6:00. Gates to the Stadium open at 6:30, and the multimedia program, featuring TBDBITL, OSU celebrities, a Block O card stunt, and more begins at 7:00. Stay until the end to come onto the field and pose for a historic group photo! Make sure to wear red! |
