Students Pay Forward on their day off

StinsonFamily

Students have the opportunity to make their day off a day on, and join Pay It Forward - a cohort of 30 students who provide their peers with regular, easily accessible service opportunities on campus and in Ohio communities - and the Frank W. Hale Black Cultural Center at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on January 18, 2016. Students can celebrate the legacy of Dr. King by participating in community service at a variety of locations throughout Columbus.

Since 1999, 1,000 students have come together to celebrate the holiday through service. Pay It Forward will provide transportation for students to all off-campus service sites. Past projects have included working with youth, literacy education, serving meals, office work and a variety of other worthwhile service experiences. The day will conclude with group reflection at Hale Hall, where pizza will be provided for students.
