(updated August 27)
- 12th Avenue open. Construction on the 12th Avenue project is now complete and the road is re-opened to two-way traffic, but work on the Biomedical Research Tower will continue to occupy the north lane of 12th Avenue. Portions of Neil remain under construction, and traffic continues one-way southbound, but will reopen to two-way traffic this week, weather permitting.
- The access road behind Campbell Hall is now open.
- South Oval Drive and 12th Avenue continue to be accessible via the traffic control gates at 17th and Neil avenues.
- The north sidewalk on 12th Avenue remains closed from Cannon to Wiseman Hall; the south sidewalk is closed from the Postle Hall main entrance to Neil Avenue.
- Knowlton and Hitchcock. Frequent deliveries continue to restrict access to Ives Drive. Motorists are encouraged to park in Tuttle garage.
- Drake-Sisson Pedestrian Bridge. The bridge is due to open by Sept. 3. Until then, pedestrians are urged to catch a CABS bus at the bus stop near Woody Hayes Drive and Fyffe Road. Bicyclists are urged to use Woody Hayes Drive. Also, access to central campus from the south riverbank parking lot on Olentangy River Road will be unavailable during this time.
- Ninth Avenue Surface Lot. 200 spaces in the Ninth Avenue surface lot will be restored to "A" and "B" permit parking by mid-September.
- Cannon Drive. Cannon is due to open Sept. 3. Until then, motorists may access the West Stadium parking from the south via Herrick Drive or King Avenue. The parking lot at the north end of Cannon is reserved for families attending Orientation and is accessible from Woody Hayes Drive. Expect slow or stopped traffic in this area throughout the summer. Bus routes are modified to help pedestrians during this construction phase:
- Campus Loop South (CLS) from west campus will turn right on Herrick, left on Cannon, left to service the Drake Union bus stop, and continue on its regular route. CLS buses will serve St. John West and Ag. West but not Ag. East bus stops.
- Campus Loop North (CLN) after the Lincoln and Morrill Towers bus stop, will turn left into Drake Union, right on Cannon, right on Herrick and left on Woody Hayes. CLN buses will service Ag. East but not St. John West and Ag. West bus stops.
