Jeopardy! comes to the Ohio State campus
Local auditions are Sept. 26 at the Ohio Union
The best and brightest students of The Ohio State University will have a chance to challenge their wit before a live television audience when the Jeopardy! 2002 College Championship comes to Value City Arena at The Jerome Schottenstein Center Oct. 5-6.
The Jeopardy! Clue Crew will hold auditions Thursday (9/26) from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Ohio Union ballroom. Auditions are open to fulltime undergraduates with no previous college degree.
Applications for tickets will also be available.
Fifteen contestants selected from a nationwide pool will compete. The champion will receive $50,000 and a new car. The second-place winner is guaranteed a minimum of $15,000 while third place is guaranteed at least $10,000. Cash prizes will also be awarded to semifinalists and players eliminated in the early rounds.
The shows will air locally Nov. 11 through 22 on WBNS-TV (Channel 10).
