Study Abroad Fair highlights overseas programs;
Experience international food and music at the Diversity Festival
The Ohio State University Office of International Education (OIE) will host its annual Study Abroad Fair Oct. 13, introducing students to overseas opportunities ranging from a London theater program to summer studies in Ghana. The Study Abroad Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oxley Hall, 1712 Neil Ave.
Ohio State students will find information on OIE's 100-plus programs taking place in more than 35 countries. Information on more than 30 overseas programs managed by other organizations also will be displayed. Last year, the event drew 1,000 participants.
Ohio State University annually sends approximately 675 students abroad for programs sponsored by the OIE. An estimated 325 more students travel overseas as part of employment, internship or academic initiatives.
During the fair, students, faculty and staff can experience an array of international food, music and fun at the Diversity Festival, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., right down the street at Kuhn Honors & Scholars House and the Browning Amphitheater, 220 W. 12th Ave.
