Ohio State discusses progress of Multicultural Center
A design committee for the proposed Ohio State University Multicultural Center is updating campus community on its development plan. The Multicultural Design Committee, which has been working on the plan since Fall Quarter 2000, will discuss its current state of progress from 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, at the Ohio Union Conference Theater, 1739 N. High St. The Multicultural Center is a product of Ohio State’s Diversity Action Plan, a key part of President William E. Kirwan’s strategy to improve the quality of education at the university.
The meeting’s agenda includes introductions of the committee members and presentation of design considerations developed by the committee as well as other business regarding the center’s development.
