Senator John Glenn to speak to Ohio State trustees Friday
Scholars and $$$ among other agenda items
COLUMBUS -- Senator John Glenn will give remarks to Ohio State's Board of Trustees about The John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy during the trustees full board meeting at 10:45 a.m. Friday (3/2) at the Longaberger Alumni House, 2200 Olentangy River Road, in the Sanders Grand Lounge, room 130. Ohio State's Glenn Institute aims to encourage civic engagement among citizens of all ages, explore the place of public service in American life, train public officials for more effective leadership and disseminate fact-based research to all policymakers.
Other agenda items will include: Reports on The Ohio State Scholars Program, a report on annual financial benchmarks, amendments to the Code of Student Conduct and a report on interdisciplinary research.
