Tressel will speak at forum for Columbus Metropolitan Club
Ohio State coach to discuss ‘A New Beginning for the Bucks’
Ohio State’s 22nd head football coach Jim Tressel will outline his goals for next season at a forum for the Columbus Metropolitan Club, from noon to 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Ballroom, 350 N. High St.
During the forum, titled “A New Beginning for the Bucks,” Tressel will discuss his plans to uphold Ohio State’s football team to the highest standards, both athletically and academically.
As head football coach for 15 seasons at Youngstown State University, Tressel led his team to four national titles and six appearances in championship games. Tressel also played a role in his players’ academic success. During the last two years, Youngstown State’s football program had 67 players earn a 3.0 grade point average or higher.
Sponsored by the Columbus Metropolitan Club, in conjunction with M/I Homes, this event is open to the public, and advanced registration is required. Contact Megan Melby, executive director, or Lori Marlow, program coordinator, for the Columbus Metropolitan Club at 464-3220 for more information.
