Ohio State conference focuses on outreach and engagement
Economy, technology relationship is a topic of discussion
The future of Ohios economy could depend on the relationship between economic development and science and technology.
That relationship is among the topics that will be discussed at Ohio States outreach and engagement conference, Helping to Build Ohios Future: The Ohio State Universitys Outreach/Engagement Commitment, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday (4/20), at the Adams Mark Hotel, 50 N. Third St. Assistant Vice President for Technology Partnerships David Allen will facilitate this interactive discussion.
Ohio State President William E. Kirwan, Executive Vice President and Provost Ed Ray, Vice President of Agriculture Administration Bob Moser, Board of Trustees member and chair the of Outreach and Engagement Committee James Patterson and Gail Imig, from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, are among the conferences featured speakers.
The conference sessions will focus on Ohio States and the communitys commitments to outreach and engagement; the implementation of the outreach and engagement aspects of Ohio States academic plan; and steps to move departments and communities toward stronger engagement.
