Ohio Union is a better venue for the event, organizers say

The location of the African American Heritage Festival’s Comedy Showcase has changed.  The Comedy Showcase, featuring J. Anthony Brown, Miss Dupree and Myra Jay comedians from the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” is set for 10 p.m., Friday (5/18), in the Ohio Union ballrooms, 1739 N. High St.

Originally, the Comedy Showcase was to be held at the Value City Center but its location was changed to better meet the needs of the event.

Tickets are $20 for the public and $10 for students with a valid Ohio State I.D., and can be purchased at the Value City Center’s ticket office or any Ticketmaster outlet until the day of the show.  Tickets also will be on sale at the door.
