Football parking and transportation discussed
Gather your parking info for football Saturdays
Fans driving to football games this year will face an unusual situation: no new construction projects or detours are expected to delay traffic en route to campus.
The scheduled closing of the Lane Avenue bridge has been postponed which again makes available the camper parking lots near St. John Arena. With the stadium renovation complete, 420 parking spaces are again available on the west side of Ohio Stadium.
Beth Kelley, associate director of transportation and parking services, will be available to reporters to outline parking and transportation plans for the football season at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 6) in the stadium parking lot by gate 10.
Transportation and parking officials are happy to take your questions at other times, but between preparations for the home opener and the upcoming academic year, the Thursday session provides the most convenient and efficient way to gather information.
