11-03-93 Holiday Closings

UNIVERSITY TO CLOSE FOR VETERANS DAY, THANKSGIVING

     COLUMBUS -- Classrooms and offices at The Ohio State
University will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11, in observance of
Veterans Day.  The Main Library and departmental libraries will
be open during their regular hours.  The Health Sciences Library
will be open from 10 a.m. to 11:45 p.m., and the Science and
Engineering Library desk will be open from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

     Classrooms and offices will again be closed on Thursday and
Friday, Nov. 25 and 26, for the Thanksgiving holiday.  All
libraries will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, and
department libraries will also be closed on Friday, Nov. 26.  The
Main Library will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, and will
reopen from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26.  Other libraries
will also have restricted hours on Wednesday evening and Friday
-- patrons are advised to call ahead.  All university libraries
will resume regular hours on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 27 and 28.

     University Hospitals, the WOSU broadcast stations and other
university units on seven-day schedules will maintain regular
operations over the holiday periods.
