11-10-93 Engineering Refresher Courses

OHIO STATE OFFERS REFRESHER COURSE FOR ENGINEERS

     COLUMBUS -- The Ohio State University College of Engineering
will offer a two-part engineering refresher course on the
Columbus campus on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from Jan. 4
through March 10.  The sessions provide review for individuals
planning to take the examinations to obtain the Professional
Engineer certification.

     Section I - Fundamentals, from Jan. 4 through Feb. 8, will
include 11 two-hour sessions covering general fundamentals of
mathematics and engineering sciences common to all engineering
disciplines.  The fee for this session is $375.

     Section II - Principles and Practice, from Feb. 10 through
March 10, will provide additional separate sessions of principles
and practice review in the civil, electrical or mechanical
engineering disciplines.  The fee for this session is $375.
