04-26-94 Annual Pow Wow This Weekend NEWS ADVISORY: NATIVE AMERICAN POW WOW TO BE HELD THIS WEEKEND The American Indian Council at The Ohio State University will host the fourth annual Traditional Pow Wow on the west lawn of the Ohio Union, 1739 N. High St., on April 30 and May 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The public is invited to experience the cultural ways of the American Indians and to go beyond textbook and other media interpretations by learning directly from the people. There will be singing and dancing, as well as traders from across the country selling goods and food. Admission for the event is $5 for adults; $3 for students and senior citizens; and free for children under 12.
