Francis Joseph Swenton of Upper Arlington, Bachelor of Science in
mathematics; 4.0 by Patricia Ghicarello Steussi of Columbus,
Bachelor of Science in Spanish education.

HONOR GRADUATES:  As designated by their colleges, 164 will
graduate summa cum laude, 128 magna cum laude, and 179 cum laude.

HONORARY DEGREES: John B. Gerlach of Columbus, business leader
and university supporter, Doctor of Business Administration;
Damon J. Keith of Detroit, judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the
Sixth Circuit, Doctor of Laws.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD: Ralph W. Howard of Marion, a founder
and long-time supporter of the Marion regional campus; and
(posthumously) Roy M. Kottman of Columbus, vice president and
executive dean for agriculture emeritus.

INVOCATION:  Alice Herman, chaplain, University Hospitals
Pastoral Care.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Led by Christopher Michel, Class of 1994.

TRAFFIC INFORMATION:

=FE  Motorists not attending commencement are advised to avoid the
   campus area between 7:30 and 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

=FE  The best approaches to the stadium area are from the Lane
   Avenue and Ackerman Road exits of State Route 315 and from
   High Street.  Guests are strongly urged to avoid approaching
   campus from the south, where construction on Cannon and
   Herrick drives will cause significant delays.

=FE  For quickest, easiest access to parking spaces, drivers
   are asked to follow the directions of the traffic control
   officers who will be on duty before and after commencement.
