06-09-94 OSU Day at Wyandot Lake

JUNE 18 TO BE OHIO STATE DAY AT WYANDOT LAKE

     COLUMBUS -- Faculty, staff, students and retirees of The
Ohio State University and their families and friends can get
together Saturday, June 18, for the annual University Day outing
at Wyandot Lake.

     Rides, water amusements, a meal, and entertainment are
included in the ticket price, with all the attractions of Wyandot
Lake available from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. that day.

     Ticket prices, $6 in advance and $8 the day of the event,
are the same as last year.  Children younger than 4 will be
admitted free.  Persons with season passes to Wyandot Lake may
opt for a meal ticket for $3.

     Features include a roller coaster, miniature golf, water
slides, a wave pool, inner tubing and others.  Entertainment will
include jazz, Dixieland and bluegrass music along with mime,
juggling and magic.  The meal of hamburger or two pieces of
chicken, and cole slaw, potato chips, and soft drinks, will be
served 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. in Buckeye Grove. Soft
drinks will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

     Wyandot Lake is next to the Columbus Zoo on Riverside Drive
(Ohio 745 near the Franklin-Delaware county line).  Park
regulations prohibit the carrying in of food or beverages.

     Faculty, staff, students and retirees may purchase as many
tickets as they like at any of the following locations:
